Aligned Government Services is looking for experienced and reliable Medical Technician to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Properly confirms collects blood specimens,and labels all specimens drawn.
- Starts glucose tolerance procedures and collects specimens at required times.
- Delivers specimens to Laboratory and replenishes phlebotomy trays.
- Performs specialized procedures as directed by various laboratory sections.
- Maintains a clean working area, sorts and processes specimens.
- Handles phone calls, maintains logs, records, and worksheets.
- Assists other phlebotomists during heavy workloads.
- Adheres to safety precautions and performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 1 year paid experience
- Current Medical Technician Certification
- You must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply
- Subject to a background/security investigation
