Senior Staff AssistantAGS, is currently recruiting for Senior Staff Assistant who are highly reliable, compassionate, and experienced in Orlando or surrounding areas.


Job Description: 
  • Performs senior-level administrative support functions, which involve coordinating the dissemination of departmental and City information, developing filing systems, and coordinating internal administrative support work
  • Work performed is both routine and non-routine administrative support duties as dictated by the nature of the work area.
  • Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail to appropriate areas.
  • Assists in organizing department and/or City events as needed
  • Assists with administrative support aspects of budget preparation and procurement
  • Audits accounts payable invoices, checks, drop box, and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply
  • Subject to pass a background/security investigation
Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED is required, supplemented by two (2) years of directly-related administrative support experience.
    • The City reserves the right to consider alternate combinations of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time
Background Check:
  1. Two (2) levels of background checks shall be performed
 Drug Screen:
  1.  Five panel drug screen to include amphetamines, cocaine metabolites, marijuana metabolites, opiate metabolites and phencyclidine.
