Utility Billing Specialist

AGS, is currently recruiting for Utility Billing Specialist who are highly reliable, compassionate, and experienced in Orlando or surrounding areas.

Job Description: 
  • Interact with customers, coordinate with utility field and customer service, obtain other information to research, and resolve or investigate reports of unauthorized utility usage and use discretion to determine deposit and restoration of service requirement.
  • Timely and accurate billing of over 40,000 utility accounts.
  • Perform billing adjustments as well as calculating customer requested adjustments for consumption issues.
  • Creates field work orders, dispatches issues to field staff via radio communication and follows up on non-completed work orders.
  • Generates, review, and close work orders for routine and miscellaneous service request entering pertinent information into the Naviline billing software.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply
  • Subject to pass a background/security investigation
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; supplemented by a minimum of three years of experience in an administrative support function performing clerical, accounting, or bookkeeping work.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Background Check:
  1. Two (2) levels of background checks shall be performed
 Drug Screen:
  1.  Five panel drug screen to include amphetamines, cocaine metabolites, marijuana metabolites, opiate metabolites and phencyclidine.
