AGS is currently seeking a Dental Assistant for our team.
This is technical level work assisting with dental procedures and maintaining the dental equipment used to treat patients housed at a correctional facility. Assists the dentist in rendering treatment at the chair side as required of four handed dentistry. The employee will work under the direction of the Escambia County Operations Coordinator.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Prepares X-rays, sterilizes instruments, and cleans dental equipment according to established guidelines, etc.
Prepares patient, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must possess credentials to practice in the state of Florida.
